The Smith-Hudson Group, LLC is a consulting firm based in Prince George, VA. We specialize in Training, Development and Coaching as well as providing unique solutions to everyday problems. The Group was founded in 2008 to assist companies, individuals, and associates/organizations to improve their business practices and lives through auditing, reflection, and taking action.

Andrea Smith-Hudson is President and Founder of the Smith-Hudson Group, a coaching and training company committed to personal development and professional excellence. Mrs. Smith- Hudson has over 10 years of customer service experience working in both the telecommunications industry as well as the financial industry. She is on the Board of Directors of the Hanover Homecoming Foundation, A non-profit and non-governmental organization, whose founding members are expatriates and children of expatriates from Hanover Jamaica.


Mrs. Smith-Hudson worked as a Telecommunications Specialist on the Call Calibration/Training Team at Verizon Communications where she enhanced customer satisfaction and quality as leader in the Global outsourcing initiative in the Philippines.  She designed techniques to identify gaps in service delivery and recommended viable solutions to senior management.  In addition, Andrea assisted local trainers in the Philippines train more than 150 Filipinos. Andrea has more than six years of management experience and more than 10 years of training experience. As a member of the Hanover Homecoming Foundation, she makes positive contributions towards the improvement of the social and economic conditions in the community of Hanover, Jamaica. 

 

Among her many accomplishments, Andrea has co-authored several books, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance, A Masters in Business Administration, has 27 credits towards a Masters of Arts degree, is a certified trainer specializing in Diversity, and was featured in Black Enterprise magazine June 2009.  Andrea is also a member of the Professional Woman’s Network (PWN).
